ABILITY TO RELOCATE or COMMUTE:

WORK LOCATION: In person onsite

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program.

• Current and valid license to practice in the state of Washington.

• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular anatomy, physiology, and pathologies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population and in a multidisciplinary team.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

DUTIES:

• Provide hands-on therapy techniques such as manual therapy and joint mobilization

• Educate patients on exercises and techniques to improve mobility, strength, and function

• Monitor and document patients' progress and help adjust treatment plans as needed

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

We are a small but busy clinic in a rural town, but within 40 minutes of the state capital Olympia.  We see people of all ages and with a variety of diagnoses. We focus on hands on care and exercise prescription, with programs as specific to the patient's functional goals as possible. We do have an onsite pool for aquatic rehabilitation. We value collaboration and a team approach to ensure that each patient reaches their goals.  This is a full-time, on-site role at Montesano Physical Therapy, Inc. located in beautiful Montesano, WA. You will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with musculoskeletal and neuromuscular impairments to maximize their rehabilitation potential.
